Standards we hold ourselves to
OrionStats is an education and professional certification platform dedicated to data analytics. It has two parts that are connected but deliberately independent: the Academy, which teaches, and Certification, which assesses.
What we promise
- Accurate teaching. Code, formulas and calculations in lessons are checked; SQL examples are executed against the practice databases when the page is rendered.
- Transparent assessment. Certification blueprints, rubrics, passing rules and retake policies are published.
- Honest claims. OrionStats certificates are independent professional credentials. They are not accredited by a government body or third-party accreditation organisation. We make no promises about salaries or employment outcomes.
- Visible gaps. Each module shows which syllabus topics are not yet published. Topics whose business definition is unclear (for example TTC or organisation-specific LFL rules) are marked awaiting definition rather than invented.
How certification decisions are made
Written examinations are scored automatically on the server where grading is reliable; written answers and practical work are graded by examiners against published rubrics. Critical criteria must be met regardless of total score. Examiners cannot grade their own work, and certificate issuance requires an approved candidacy and an administrator (two-person control). Every decision is audit-logged.
